We all know that Leryn Franco has competed (well, took part) in the Olympics, World Championships and Miss Universe Pagent all in a short space of time.  She has been able to cross over between beauty and athletics, something that has proved almost impossible for most who have attempted it. out of 52 at the Beijing games in 2008.  Leryn Franco, the athlete, and has never won a competitive medal at the highest level.

Leryn Franco has had far more success as a model than she ever could as a javelin thrower, understandable when you look at how sexy she is  Leryn finished runner-up in the 2006 Miss Paraguay pageant and also placed 2ndin 2006 in the Miss Bikini Universe contest.

Leryn also had a top 5 selling calender in 2007 and placed 86th in the AskMen.com 2009 top 99 women poll.

While Leryn is yet to claim a victory in, well, anything it is clear that she is a woman of many talents.  Leryn Franco will, in all likelyhood, turn away from javelin to focuss solely on her modeling career.  Maybe now she will be able to finish on top at last.

When compared to 2008, when she took Beijing by storm and stole out hearts,Leryn franco has had a relaitively quiet 2009; until now!

In what kind of sick world can a person be next to worst at their job, considered a joke among their peers but still land a giant pay increase? Well, you’ll be pleased to know it is this world, or more precisely this country!

Leryn Franco, fresh off a truly inspirational 44th place finish (out of 55) at the Beijing Olympics, has landed a miliion dollar clothing deal with sports giants Nike.  Miss Franco will wear Nike apparel at all sporting events, whether or not she is competing. 

Leryn Franco is not even close to being an elite athlete and is being given this sponsorship deal on the basis that she is absolutely stunning and has sex appeal that is throgh the roof.

It is fairly common knowledge that in order to be a sucessful business, a corporation must first sell it’s soul and abandon all morals.  Nike, being about as big as business can get carried out this exercise of flawed character many moons ago.  In order to sell their products, Nike chiefs have decided to recruit the services of the most attractive athlete from a given sport (javelin in this case) ahead of the most successful.  The message being sent is that it is far more beneficial to look good than to work hard and strive to be the best.

Maybe it would be better for Nike to utilise Leryn along side other women from her sport; you know, the ones that actually win.  If they did this they could ensure that it is hard work and determination that bring the best results, not just your genetic appearence.

Leryn Franco has an unreal body

Our girl Leryn Franco has been voted into the top 99 women of 2009 list by readers of askmen.com.  Franco rolled into the list at number 86, ahead of other athletes; Danica Patrick and Anna Ivanovic.

Leryn recieved an overall rating of 77/100 but 79% of people who voted said she should have been ranked higher.  This is a good sign for a relitive unknown and new comer, therefore we can expect to see improvement in her postion next year and beyond.
